Bordeaux Blend: the mixing together of several grape varietals (known to be grown in the Bordeaux region of France) to make a more complex red or white wine. Includes the following grapes for red Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, and Malbec; and for whites includes Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.
