12 Degree Brewing is an artisanal, Belgian-inspired brewery located in the heart of Old Town Louisville, Colorado.
It all started with homemade witch costumes, a Polaroid picture, and a dream.
Marvin Jefferson dreamed of starting his own vineyard and knew if this dream became a reality he would name it 2 Witches, after his daughters Julie and Andrea. A few decades later (who’s counting), 2 Witches Vineyard became a reality.
While the family was debating the decision to start the farm winery at the vineyard location in Pittsylvania County, Ethan and Julie Brown had been visiting small urban wineries and breweries in North Carolina. The idea for 2 Witches Winery and Brewing Company was born, placing the farm winery and nano brewery within the city limits of Danville, Virginia. This will be the first co-located(under one roof) winery and brewery in Virginia.
Marvin and his wife, Caren, maintain the vineyard. Ethan and Julie operate the winery and brewery, with Ethan serving as the Head Brewer. Their son, Alex, assists with the brewing and is pursuing his degree in Brewing Science from Rockingham Community College. Their youngest son, Tim, helps out when he’s not busy with the Tunstall Band or playing paintball.
2Kids Brewing was founded in 2013 by Rob and Sam Dufau – Two Kids who love beer and couldn’t stand to be doing anything else in the world. This dynamic husband and wife duo began homebrewing in 2009 and quickly fell head over heels for their new hobby.
After doing the school thing, and working jobs they loved, and jobs they hated, they realized that nothing compared to making beer and sharing it with their friends. In 2013, they took the plunge and turned their love for craft beer into a career, opening 2kids Brewery and Tasting Room in Miramar. Rob’s education and background in Molecular Biology and Sam’s incredible sense of humor and creativity come together brilliantly in all of their brews.
The two pride themselves on making uncommon, unpretentious craft beers that are easy to drink. Whether you are a novice craft beer drinker, or looking to satisfy a more complex palette, 2Kids has a beer for you.

That sure is a beautiful copper brewhouse pictured to the right but unfortunately, it’s not ours! We operate on a much simpler and smaller converted 7 barrel grundy. This direct-fire system provides us with the opportunity to truly brew in an Old World style. We concentrate on crafting high quality small batch beers 5 to 6 barrels at a time (gotta have room for that boiling froth at the top). We use single infusion mashing in our open mash tun, though we do some decoction on occasion. All of our fermenters are glycol jacketed open fermenters that allow for temperature- controlled fermentation. While these fermenters may be open, they are always lidded to prevent contamination from floating in on the breeze. Each fermenter is capable of converting 12 barrels of wort into our fine beers, so most of our brews are double-batched to fill our fermenters.

Our brewery is massive! It is so massive that international beer corporations have swarmed upon us with their resumes to infiltrate our deepest secrets. For this very reason, we do not allow brewery walking tours. But rest your weary legs, take a seat in our tasting room and observe the entirety of our brewing operation from the comfort of a your seat with one of our fine brews in your hand.
