Livermore Valley’s premier food and wine affair spans four delectable days. The annual quest for food and wine pairing excellence which has 19 winemakers partnering with Bay Area chefs to compete for honors. Taste pairings and cast your vote for the coveted People’s Choice award! Friday through Sunday wineries across the region host ten food and wine events including cooking classes, wine seminars, vineyard tours and more.
Professional culinary teams will serve up small-bite dishes paired perfectly with HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon competing for money to be donated to their favorite Napa Valley charity. Sample each dish vote for your favorites and enjoy incredible wines! This year competing chefs from the Napa Valley and Bay Area will craft their ultimate small bites dishes to pair beautifully with the HALL 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Professional judges and our attendees will select their first and second place winners. Teams who create the best dish pairing will win cash donations to the local charity of their choice.

Please join us for the Italian Rootstock Festival. It’s an annual event in Santa Rosa California featuring authentic Italian food and wine. We have hand-crafted beer live music and dancing too. This festival is a celebration of heirloom tomatoes and wine that benefits the School Garden Network. It is held on the first Saturday after Labor Day from 11:00 to 4:00 at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Center. We feature food from local restaurateurs live entertainment educational seminars and more.
A wine-country auction to benefit Sonoma Country Day School (www.scds.org) this fundraiser has multiple auction lots dedicated to wine including hard-to-find vintages from the private cellars of winemakers and wine families. Past auctions have also included private winery tours meals and other exclusive wine-related items.
